those sweet memories.

i found a poem i wrote in sec 2 while packing my files!
its kinda crappy cause i wrote it in 15 mins..
yeah anyways, it was for English and the topic was S'pore.

Just a little country,
untied and strong.
Forever and ever,
we will belong.

The responsible Government,
who cares for all,
provided so much,
so we would not fall.

Though there may be problems,
we will stay together.
Hand in hand,
never saying 'never'!

As the years go by,
we will never leave her side,
because we love Singapore,
she's our pride!

okay i really wonder if it even rhymes..?
okay no,
it doesnt.

those sweet memories.

One more day of headstart!!!
hahah, but sadly, there's still two more tests to sit for.
sigh..
had 4 tests today man!
SS, Emath, Chem, Phy.
and plus,
I have 22 chinese assignments altogether!
Saw it on my teacher's list.
22 assignments in 15 days!
its seriously too much.
i still have 4 left...
not too bad i guess.
but i'm just really not in the mood to do anything right now!
:(

So anyways,
cell's gonna do a skit for Youthnet's got Talent!
hahaha, MingChin, Cheryl and I are gonna be the bimbos!
i wanted the name Sage,
but i found out that it meant wise old man...
which is quite ironic.
LOL
and Fifi was nice too,
cause its so cute!
but apparently some people say its a dog's name?
ahhaha
so chose Kimmie instead.
MingChin's Starla and Cheryl's Paris.
hahaha, super bimbo-ish.
I seriously cant wait!!
for YGT, Cell retreat, Tribe outing, Transformers Camp!
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE~

okay Charmaine and I decided that we're gonna have coloured extensions!!
but we're gonna cut our hair first.

those sweet memories.

okay! i shall blog about the US trip, but the Vancouver part.

5th Sept
so, first flight was 7 hours...
to Japan, and then connecting flight to LA was 10 hrs.
almost died.
had lunch at the airport, Route 66,
then took another flight to Vancouver.
when we reached, we discovered that our luggage didnt.
LOL
it was all still in LA
met my mom who went earlier than us, and my god-mom.
got driven to their place and ITS SO NICE.
garage, basement, attic, living room, everything was huge.
so we drove to the nearest mall to get clothes.
on the way, saw SO MANY coniferous trees!
pretty!
so cause my parents are in the insurance line,
they bought insurance, so all the stuff that we bought was covered.
so therefore, free clothes!!
hahaha, it was really cold, so bought some jackets etc
had dinner after that.
Caleb got this slushy thing and it looked so nice!
so tried some....good stuff.
spent the rest of that night playing with Wii with my bros.
the cool thing was that i left Singapore on the 5th of Sept,
and reach Vancouver on the 5th as well.
COOL HUH?
hahaha,

6th Sept,
visited the church.
they gave away dino lollipops.
hahaha, yum.
after that,
went to sushi town for lunch!
sashimi was good~
then we went to someone's house...
Veronica or smth.
she rents out rooms to students.
one of the students there was from Singapore too,
same age summore!
so made friends with him,
asked about school there etc.
Veronica also told us alot about the schools and education system,
and gave us a tour of the house.
then went for dinner, and spent the night playing Wii again.
lol

7th Sept
mom left for San Diego.
spent the whole day at a HUGE mall.
didnt really play Wii for long cause Caleb had school the next day.

8th Sept
visted Caleb's sch.
they dont have to wear uniforms!!!
sigh, so got a tour of the school...
its quite nice.
and then ...
went to see someone's house again.
Wendy i think
they were from singapore too,
and they told us about life in Canada.
watched canada's So you think you can dance.
hhahaha, nice.
didnt play Wii anymore...LOL

9th Sept
left for LA....

those sweet memories.

exams are over!
long weekend for me!
it ended on wed,
so thurs, fri dont have to report to sch.
and then mon is a public holiday.
so yeah!!

haha, okay so thursday, had dance training.
self initiated :)
cause we have a performance on tues,
and we have to choreograph everything ourselves.
music, costumes, hair-do, steps..
so much to worry about!
had dinner with Charmaine after training at macs.
saw SOMEONE reading comics at the side -.-
kinda weird....
hahaha then had drums practice.
was quite funny, cause we were playing blow wind blow,
and this guy,
Anthony,
he was made to do a forfeit
cause he was the blow wind blow person too many times.
he had to spell his name with his butt.
hahaha, funny stuff.

Friday, had sleepover at Mel's place!
funfunfun!
we went to eat lunch first,
then ice skate, played at west coast park,
and then went to her house.
HER SISTER IS SO CUTE!
she's only 3!
so we showered, talked and then finally at midnight,
we watched a horror movie!
hahahhha, it was so funny!
all of us were hiding under the blanket!
LOL.
after the show,
Mel kept us awake cause she was scared to be the last one to sleep.
lol.
so in the end, we slept at 3.30am i think?
even though we could have slept earlier!! :)
hahaha i rmbr when i was about to fall asleep,
Mel took my finger and bit it!
lol, shocked me right out of sleep.
so anyways, manged to sleep peacefully in the end.
hahaha, woke up at nine, breakfast and then we went swimming!
played on the waterslide and waterfall.
hahaha, it was such an awesome party!

nothing much happened on sat,
so i'm going to talk about sun.
had church today.
message was good..as usual.
lol
Ps talked about how God hates the sin of pride.
made me realise that i've committed that sin without knowing it.
he said if something doesnt 'flow' your way,
and you refuse to listen to it,
its a HUGE opportunity for Satan to ...
you know.
and like if someone says something about you and you get defensive,
when its true,
its also a form of pride.
well, i'm guilty of some of that :(
yeah so anyway,
had cell after that,
it was really fun!
discussed what we were going to do for the hols...
its so packed now!
tribe retreats, youth camps, cell BBQ, encounters etc.
hahaha i cant wait!

okay, shall get back to worrying about the performance.

those sweet memories.

okay so i'm back from US.
will blog more about it after the exams.
got it all written down in my travel journal!
hahah, i started that journal when i first went to Europe.
Germany, Czech Republic and all.
yeah.
okay, i cant believe i'm saying this
but i kinda miss my god-bro, Caleb.
even though he laughs at me alot
when i ask, according to him, stupid questions.
i'm not as smart as he is,
cause he's taking sec 2 now,
even though he's 2 yrs younger than me.
yeah so i really miss him :(:(
okay shall go study now.
